<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric hand that can grip an object to be gripped by both movements of a closing direction and an opening direction of a pair of gripping members while avoiding the enlargement, and not losing gripping force during electricity failure. <P>SOLUTION: Since a servomotor 1 is arranged in parallel with a rotation shaft 2, the hand is not long as a whole and can be constituted to be small. Linear motion members 3, 4 composed of ball nuts are screwed to a right screw 18 and a left screw 19 of the rotation shaft 2, and the linear motion members 3, 4 are made to move to the opposite directions from each other by the rotation shaft 2. Movements of the linear motion members 3, 4 to directions of approaching each other are converted to movements of sliders 24, 26 to directions of approaching or to directions of separating from each other by first connection members 28, 29 or second connection members. The object to be gripped is gripped by the movement in the closing direction and the movement in the opening direction of the gripping members mounted on the sliders 24, 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
