<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a reinforcing material of a printer head, wherein the thermal stress of the reinforcing material resulting from heat drying is properly managed and the reinforcing material is planarized. <P>SOLUTION: In a first step, the reinforcing material is formed from a metal material by press working. In a second step, warpage of the reinforcing material is changed from a state after the first step to a state where the warpage is set.
