<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device for recording a high definition image by holding a recording medium while taking into account paper elongation due to ink. <P>SOLUTION: This image recording device prevents a recording medium before recording from being drawn into a recess by causing suction force of the recess 13 provided at a surface of a conveying part for the recording medium to be less than suction force of a medium supporting surface 12, for preventing the recording medium from floating due to paper elongation caused by ink droplets impinging thereon, minimizes the depth of the recess 13, and records a high quality image by increasing positional accuracy of the image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
