<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair-type massage machine having armrest portions each provided with a forearm treatment mechanism for massaging a forearm of a person to be treated, wherein a rising wall in the forearm treatment mechanism is prevented from unnecessarily pressing an arm of the person to eliminate the cause of his/her uncomfortable feeling, the forearm treatment mechanism allows smooth mounting and removal of the arm of the person, and the forearm treatment mechanism does not obstruct the standing up and sitting down of the person, for comfortable use of the armrest portion. <P>SOLUTION: In the chair-type massage machine 1a, each of the armrest portions 14a has a forearm insertion opening 61a for inserting the forearm of the person to be treated from the inner back side of the armrest portion 14a, and is provided with a hollow portion 62a extending from the forearm insertion opening 61a and holding the forearm of the person which is inserted in the armrest portion 14a, and is further provided with the forearm treatment mechanism 6a for massaging the forearm of the person, in the inner walls 621a of the hollow portion 62a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
