An apparatus for actuating a portion of a capacitive touch sensor is provided. The apparatus comprises: a conducting pad for placement on a portion of the capacitive touch sensor, and a connector for electrically connecting the conducting pad to an electrical activation apparatus, wherein the electrical activation apparatus is in contact with the connector, a change in capacitance is detected at the capacitive touch sensor.
