<p>The method involves switching shift element based on representation of transmission ratio, so as to prevent the blocking of gearbox at the time of closed state of positive shift element. The non-positive shift element is switched to closed sate based on representation of transmission ratio and gearbox parameter is monitored. The transfer of switching element to closed state is terminated based on detection of unauthorized modifications to gearbox parameter. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) gearbox; and (2) data carrier with computer program product for preventing unauthorized switching operation of gearbox.</p> |
