<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support for a recording material which has a foam layer formed by expanding a thermal expansion resin particles on a paper sheet and has an excellent adhesion between the paper sheet and the foam layer while having few curling occurrences, and to provide the recording material with excellent printing quality. <P>SOLUTION: In the support for recording material which has a foam layer formed by expanding the thermal expansion resin particles on the paper sheet, the foam layer concerned is to be formed by applying an additional calender processing after making the thermal expansion resin particles expanded thermally by thermal calender processing, and the smoothness of the foam layer side measured by the Parker Printsurf is 0.5 μm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
