<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive and control a rotary electric machine with high operation efficiency for wide drive conditions even after exceeding the limiting point of weaker field control. <P>SOLUTION: A current command determination part determines a current command corresponding to a rotation coordinate system rotating at the same speed as a rotor based on a current command map. When a voltage shortage rate VR is zero or smaller, the current command determination part determines the current command at an intersection of an equal torque line CT corresponding to a target torque and a basic control line MT. When the voltage shortage rate VR is zero or larger, the current command determination part determines the current command at a point approaching a limit torque line LT as the voltage shortage rate VR increases along the equal torque line CT corresponding to the target torque. When the current command along the equal torque line CT corresponding to the target torque has reached the limit torque line LT by an increase in the voltage shortage rate VR, the current command determination part determines the current command at a point approaching the center of a voltage limit ellipse LV as the voltage shortage rate VR increases along the limit torque line LT. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
