<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the structure of a Josephson element which can be microfabricated easily and has extremely high controllability, and to provide a manufacturing method of the element. <P>SOLUTION: In the Josephson element, a metal having gibbs energy of oxidation smaller than that in a superconductor is provided on one surface of the superconductor, and a region where the superconductive characteristics, obtained by heating so that energy equal to or higher than the activation energy required for progressing oxidation of the metal and reduction of the superconductor is imparted by moving oxygen of the superconductor from the superconductor to the metal, are weakened exists under the region of the superconductor where the metal is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
