<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To trim an object image to have a desired shape by a simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: When the trimming of an image is indicated, the image is trimmed by repeating: processing for receiving the input of a cutoff line (S130, S140); processing for dividing the image by the received cutoff line (S150); processing for setting a deletion object between the two divided images (S160-S200); and processing for deleting the image of the set deletion object (S210). In this case, when the repetition times N of the trimming is lower than predetermined times Nref, the image designated by a user is set as the deletion object between the two divided images.
