<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel vapor leakage detection device that can seal a fuel tank with a simple configuration and detect leakage of fuel vapor. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel vapor leakage detection device 11 mounted on a vehicle includes a tank sealing valve 50 having an air passage 52 communicating with air, a first passage 53 connected to a pressurizing pump 30, a canister connection passage 55 connected to a canister 3, and a second passage 54 connected to the pressurizing pump 30, separately from the first passage 53. Normally the tank sealing valve 50 blocks a fuel tank 2 and the canister 3 from air by communicating the air passage 52 to the first passage 53. Upon detecting fuel vapor leakage, the tank sealing valve 50 is switched from the communication between the air passage 52 and the first passage 53 to the communication between the canister connection passage 55 and the second passage 54 to pressurize the inside of the fuel tank 2 and the canister 3 by the pressure pump 30, and thereby to detect fuel vapor leakage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
