<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary cutting tool that effectively damps down the vibration of a tool occurring in a rotating axis direction in a blade edge of the tool to perform a cutting work with high efficiency without causing tool vibrations during the cutting work. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary cutting tool in which cutting edges 13 are mounted to a disc-shaped body 11, is configured such that an annular groove is formed on an end surface side of the disc-shaped body 11; a ring-shaped weight 31 is provided into the groove via viscoelastic bodies 21; and the weight 31 is movable relatively to the body 11 in a rotating axis direction of the tool body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
