<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing device able to set a reference value for an odor sensor so as to be able to exert automatic operation control with an amount of current of operation air corresponding to an environment in a room where the deodorizing device is set or corresponding to the detection sensitivity of the odor sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The deodorizing device has, in its housing with an air conduit connecting an air inlet and outlet: a deodorizing filter that deodorizes air sucked from the inlet; a heater 30b that heats the deodorizing filter in order to reproduce the ability of the deodorizing filter to deodorize; a control means 40 that controls the supply of power to the heater; and a deodorization sensor unit that accommodates the deodorization sensor 51 for selectively detecting an odor component of air present inside or outside the housing. The control means sets a reference value for the odor sensor for determining the deodorization of air based on a detection value resulting from the odor sensor's detection of air in the housing after the reproduction of the odor filter by the supply of power to the heater. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
