<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar heating element, a hyperthermic effect and a terahertz wave effect of which can be expected, and which can be manufactured at a relatively low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The planar heating element 10 comprises a planar member, particles 35 made of crystalline silicon, and an electrothermal heater line 25, which are attached to the planar member. By use of the particles made of crystalline silicon of a high purity, terahertz waves can be radiated effectively, whereby the effect of the terahertz wave irradiation can be attained, and a hyperthermic effect by the electrothermal heater line can be obtained. In addition, since the particles made of crystalline silicon are heated by the electrothermal heater line, the amount of terahertz wave radiation from the particles can be increased, and the effect thereof can be enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
