A vehicle includes: an accumulator; an electricity-receiving unit for receiving electric power for charging the accumulator from an external power supply; a illumination unit for irradiating the electricity-receiving unit due to a transistor being in an on state, and halting irradiation due to the transistor being in an off state; and a microcomputer for controlling the transistor so that the transistor assumes an off state in response to a connection being established between the external power supply and the electricity-receiving unit, and so that the transistor assumes an on state in response to the external power supply and the electricity-receiving unit being disconnected.
