According to the present invention, to stop the generation of electricity by a fuel cell stack (3), a motor-operated valve (B11) is controlled to close, and if the voltage of the fuel cell stack (3) falls to or below a reference voltage, a motor-operated valve (B12) is controlled to close. An electromagnetic valve (B21) is then controlled to close. If the pressure on an anode (31) side reaches a predetermined pressure, an electromagnetic valve (B22) is controlled to close. Thus, the interior of the anode (31) becomes pressurized due to reformed gas, and hydrogen moving from the anode (31) side pressurizes the interior of a cathode (32). Therefore, the diffusion of oxygen from outside the fuel cell stack (3) to inside the anode (31) and the cathode (32) is suppressed. |
