OPERATING SYSTEM SUPPORTING SCALABLE BANDWIDTH AND FEMTOCELL BASE STATION

Femtocell base stations, which are installed in a premises positioned within a macrocell coverage, having a separate femtocell coverage, measures the size of a macrocell interference signal, which is received from a neighboring macrocell base station, and transmits same to an operating system. Then the operating system sets a scalable bandwidth for each of the femtocell base stations, according to the size of each of the macrocell interference signals, by periodically receiving the size of the each of the macrocell interference signals, which are measured by each of the femtocell base station.
