In order to specify a method for detecting current withdrawals from or current feeds to a part (10, 20) of a low-voltage electrical distribution system which enables the user of an electrical energy distribution system to detect and localize comparatively accurately previously unknown current withdrawals or feeds, a method is proposed in which a first and at least one further active current value, which specify the active current flowing in each case at a measurement point (12a, 12b, 12c) of the low-voltage distribution system, are recorded by means of an associated current measuring device (11a, 11b, 11c), wherein a part (10, 20), which is assumed to be load-free and source-free, of the low-voltage distribution system is isolated by the current measuring devices (11a, 11b, 11c). The active current values are transmitted to a central device (15), which forms an active current sum, taking into consideration the associated current flow direction, and forms a withdrawal information item, which specifies a current withdrawal from the part (10, 20) of the low-voltage distribution system, or a feed information item, which specifies a current feed to the part (10, 20) of the low-voltage distribution system, when the discrepancy between the active current sum and the value zero exceeds a predetermined active current threshold value. The invention also relates to a corresponding current measuring device. |
