The exhaust turbocharger comprises a compressor housing (1), a bearing housing (2) and a turbine housing (3), where in the turbine housing a wastegate channel (4) is provided, which is locked by a closing element (5). The closing element is connected with an actuating lever, and an anti-twist protection in the contact area between the closing element and the actuating lever. The actuating lever comprises an extension, which is inserted into a chamber of the closing element. The extension of the actuating lever and the chamber of the closing element are formed rectangular, round or polygonal.
