<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine an operation performance state regardless of the magnitude of variation in acceleration. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicular operation support device comprises: a variation calculation section 10 which calculates a first relevant value relevant to variation of acceleration; a jerk calculation section 11 which calculates a second relevant value relevant to a jerk; an acceleration calculation section 12 which calculates a third relevant value relevant to the absolute value of the acceleration; and a state determination section 13 which determines an operation performance state from the first to the third relevant values. The state determination section 13, if the first relevant value is equal to or larger than a predetermined value, determines the operation performance state from the first and the second relevant values using a first determination map in accordance with a pre-set determination criterion based on a ratio of kinetic energy of a mass point when the variation of the acceleration ends to the variation of the acceleration calculated by using a vibration model representing a movement of the mass point in a vehicle interior. In contrast, if the first relevant value is less than the predetermined value, the state determination section 13 determines the operation performance state from the first and third relevant values using a second determination map. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
