<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically distribute a related content at appropriate timing in reproducing video. <P>SOLUTION: When a video reproduction device and a terminal are present in the same network, a session is automatically started. Next, the video reproduction device transmits related information to the terminal when detecting switching of a video content being reproduced in the session. The terminal receives the related information, and retrieves linked content information from a content-related server based on the received related information.
