<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acceleration recorder capable of acquiring only maximum acceleration or its equivalent acceleration generated in a structure by vibration or shocks of earthquakes or the like. <P>SOLUTION: An acceleration meter 1 is provided to record maximum acceleration generated by vibration or shocks. The acceleration recorder includes a mass part 2 receiving acceleration to linearly move, a helical spring 3 having one end connected to the mass part and the other end immovable with respect to the mass part, a ratchet claw 4 attached to the mass part, and a ratchet tooth part 5 engaged with the ratchet claw to prevent the movement caused by the contracting force of the helical spring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
