<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation foundation structure for building capable of achieving base isolation by a layer of sand laid directly on the bottom of a recessed part formed on a ground surface. <P>SOLUTION: A recessed part 4 which is larger than a plane shape of a building 3 in plan view is formed on a ground surface 2 where the building is to be constructed, and a layer 5a of sand is provided over the entire surface of the bottom of the recessed part 4 to a predetermined thickness. A building foundation 7 made of reinforced concrete is placed on the layer 5a of sand with a waterproof sheet 6 interposed while securing a clearance with a periphery of the recessed part 4, and the clearance between the periphery of the recessed part 4 and a periphery of the building foundation 7 is filled with sand 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
