<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic induction motor. <P>SOLUTION: A stator 1 includes a set of first to n-th feeding electrodes 121-12n spaced out in a moving direction of a mover 2. N phases of AC voltage are applied to the first to n-th feeding electrodes, respectively. The mover 2 includes first to m-th charge induction sections 221-22m opposed to the first to n-th feeding electrodes at an interval and spaced out in the moving direction of the mover 2. The first to m-th charge induction sections are electrically connected with inductance elements constituting together with the feeding electrodes and the charge induction sections resonant circuits electrically resonant with the n phases of AC voltage applied to the feeding electrodes.
