Provided are a check valve with which it is possible to easily align a valve and of which the valve main body is reduced in height, and a fuel cell system. A valve unit (150) is provided with: a valve body part (151) which comes into contact with a valve base (148) when the valve unit (150) is encased in an opening (147); a support unit (152) which supports the valve body part (151) in such a manner that the valve body part (151) is movable towards or away from the valve base (148); a hole (153); and a fixation unit (154), which comes into contact with the inner perimeter surface of the opening (147) of a valve casing (130) when the valve unit (150) is encased in the opening (147), and which fixates the support unit (152). The fixation unit (154) is formed with a protruding part (156) which protrudes from a mounting surface (146) of the valve casing (130) when the valve unit (150) is encased in the opening(147). By fitting the valve unit (150) into the opening (147), the valve unit (150) is encased in the opening (147) of the valve casing (130).
