摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a wheel roller bearing device that allows a wheel roller bearing device to be more efficiently manufactured using a simpler mold and also improves the rigidity of a crimped section of an inner ring that is fit onto one end of an axle part. <P>SOLUTION: An outer ring 45 and a rotating body 50 are fit onto an axle end section 15 of an axle member 1 of a wheel roller bearing device, an inner ring 42 and a rotting body 51 are fit on, and then a crimped section 17 is formed by crimping the axle end section 15, thereby fixing the inner ring 42 in place. In this crimping process, the axle end section 15 to be crimped is a solid cylinder in shape and a crimping jig P is pressed onto the axle end section 15. Furthermore, the crimping jig P is oscillated while being pressed in the direction toward one end of an axle section 10 so as to expand and crimp a surface to be crimped 15M on the axle section which is a solid cylinder in shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
