<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation type beauty apparatus including both a depilation part and a light irradiation part, and improving usability of the light irradiation part even when use of the depilation part is unnecessary. <P>SOLUTION: The light irradiation type beauty apparatus includes: the depilation part 3; and the light irradiation part 4 provided alongside the depilation part 3, and irradiating the surface 9 of a living body with light. The depilation part 3 has: a forward/backward movably provided trimmer blade 30 having a movable blade 300 and a fixed blade 301; operation means 31 moving the trimmer blade 30 forward/backward; and a drive device 32 driving the movable blade 300 along the fixed blade 301.
