<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact device for reducing the cost and capable of maintaining a function of three point contact during opening/closing between contacts, and also to provide an electromagnetic switching device using the contact device. <P>SOLUTION: The contact device includes: a first contact part constituted of a first fixed contact 10B and a first movable contact 12B which come into contact with and are separated from each other; a second contact part composed of the first fixed contact 10A and a dummy fixed contact 10C which come into contact with and are separated from each other, a first movable contact 12A, and a dummy movable contact 12C; and a mover 12 on which the respective movable contacts 12A to 12C of each contact part are provided. Both of the dummy fixed contact 10C and the dummy movable contact 12C are formed of a non-conductive material of which the hardness is lower than that of the other contacts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
