<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability while performing copy control when a digital broadcasting program with permission of one generation recording (Copy One Generation) is recorded. <P>SOLUTION: A copy control method in a receiver receives digital contents and plural types of copy control information for controlling copying of the digital contents, and records the digital contents in a recording medium according to the copy control information. When first information in the received copy control information indicates copy generation information for permitting one-generation copying, the digital contents can be recorded up to a limited number in a copy-permitted state if second information in the received copy control information indicates number-limited copy permission, and the digital contents is encrypted and recorded as re-copying prohibited into a built-in recording medium and the recorded digital contents is moved to a removable recording medium if the received copy control information does not indicate the number-limited copy permission. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
