<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair iron which can further improve the blowing efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A hair iron (1) has a first clamp (2b) having a first hair clamping surface (22a), and a second clamp (3b) having a second hair clamping surface (32a). Hair is sandwiched between the first hair clamping surface (22a) and the second hair clamping surface (32a).
