GREEN COMPACT, PRODUCTION METHOD OF GREEN COMPACT, REACTOR, CONVERTER, AND POWER CONVERTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low loss green compact, and a production method of green compact capable of producing that green compact.

SOLUTION: The method of producing a green compact by using a coated soft magnetic powder where a plurality of coated soft magnetic particles coated with an insulating film are provided on the outer periphery of a soft magnetic particle includes a material preparation step, and an irradiation step. In the material preparation step, a material molding produced by pressure molding the coated soft magnetic powder is prepared. In the irradiation step, a part of the surface of the material molding is irradiated with a laser. Division points of a conductive part where the constituent materials of a plurality of soft magnetic particles are conducting on the surface of the material molding can be increased by irradiating a part of the surface of the material molding with a laser, and loss of the green compact can be reduced.
