<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management device for controlling multiple image forming devices as an execution unit of print processing, and notifying a handling method appropriate for failure depending on a failure cause of each image forming device, which has occurred in the execution unit of the print processing. <P>SOLUTION: A management device 107 controls multiple image forming devices as a combination unit, and receives failure information about failure having occurred, from any device among the multiple image forming devices included in the combination unit. On the basis of positional relation of the multiple image forming devices and a kind of the failure indicated by the received failure information, the management device 107 creates notification information indicating handling processing of the failure having occurred in the multiple image forming devices included as the combination unit, and notifies the created notification information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
