<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning apparatus that can prevent over-rotation abnormality of a main shaft during clutch switching while reducing the weight of a flywheel. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioning apparatus includes a gas engine 10 and two compressors 12a and 12b connected respectively through electromagnetic clutches 14a and 14b to the gas engine 10 and can change the operation capacity of the compressors 12a and 12b by switching the electromagnetic clutches 14a and 14b in response to air conditioning loads. The gas engine 10 includes a starter motor 73, a flywheel 71 provided on a drive shaft 10a, and a connecting mechanism 75 for connecting a pinion gear 84 of the starter motor 73 to a ring gear 71a of the flywheel 71 when the engine is started. When the electromagnetic clutches 14a and 14b are switched in the direction for reducing the operation capacity of the compressors 12a and 12b, the pinion gear 84 of the starter motor 73 and the ring gear 71a of the flywheel 71 are connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
