<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent scratches on the inner circumferential face of a cylindrical part of a slinger, the scratches which degrade the sealing property on a fitting part between a slinger fitting surface of an inner ring and the cylindrical part of the slinger. <P>SOLUTION: Continuous portion of the surface of an inner ring 19a is simultaneously ground by a formed rotary grinding stone after the inner ring 19a is subjected to heat treatment, the continuous portion being composed of the portion of a slinger fitting surface 20, the portion of a chamfered portion 25a and the portion of a joint 27a connecting these portions. Thus, the entire continuous portion is formed as a smooth flat surface in which a corner which can not be differentiated with respect to a cross-sectional shape thereof is not present. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
