RESCUE STATION AND METHOD FOR USING SAME

The present disclosure is directed at a rescue station and a method for using same. The rescue station includes a transmitter configured to transmit a rescue signal; an emitter configured to emit a homing signal; an actuator positioned to be accessible by a distressed person; and a stabilizer configured to stably position the rescue station outdoors. Actuation of the actuator results in the transmitter transmitting the rescue signal. The homing signal attracts the distressed person to the rescue station where the distressed person can actuate the actuator, send the rescue signal, and increase his or her likelihood of being rescued.
