<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact far-infrared ray detection device by improving light focusing efficiency and to provide the far-infrared ray detection device capable of detecting a change in a direction orthogonal to an arrangement direction of pixels by improving sensor sensitivity. <P>SOLUTION: A far-infrared ray detection device includes light focusing means to focus a far-infrared ray and detection means to detect the focused far-infrared ray. The far-infrared ray detection device also has a curved surface provided at an entrance surface side of the far-infrared ray in the light focusing means and a total reflection prevention surface provided at an emission surface side of the far-infrared ray in the light focusing means. The light focusing means has a cylindrical lens and a convex lens group. The detection means has sensor elements to detect the far-infrared ray focused by the cylindrical lens as well as the far-infrared ray focused by the convex lens group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
