<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate for a virtual image display that is capable of preventing generation of striped unevenness in an image when image light is drawn, and to provide a virtual image display including the light guide plate. <P>SOLUTION: A dividing parallelization member 25 divides image light GL2 and GL3 from a number of reflection units 23c provided in an image drawing section 23 into components GL2a and GL2b and components GL3a and GL3b, respectively, which are parallel to the light flux from the reflection units 23c and are displaced with regard to a light guide direction (+Z direction). Hence, it is possible to prevent gaps among the image light GL2 and GL3 that are divided and drawn from the reflection units 23c from causing striped luminance unevenness in an image.
