<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure equal power distribution among different transmit antennas and guarantee that allocated power is within a linear range of a power amplifier, in MIMO communication systems. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes: estimating (501) a downlink channel matrix H; performing (502) the SVD decomposition to obtain right singular matrix V; calculating (504) each element of a phase matrix V<SB POS="POST">L-phase</SB>from L column vectors V<SB POS="POST">L</SB>of V; and, based on these values, constructing (505) a precoder filter by calculating each element of a precoder with equal power distribution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
