<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of a connector even when the connector is inserted in a wrong direction with top, bottom, right, and left inverted, in electrical equipment having a peripheral device for extending a function and the connector for connecting devices. <P>SOLUTION: The electrical equipment has a connector part accepting insertion of a connector on other electrical equipment or device side, electrically connected to the other electrical equipment or device, and slidably provided in an insertion/removal direction of the connector; and energization means for energizing the connector part with a predetermined force so that the connector is pressed in a direction opposite to an insertion direction when the connector is inserted in the connector part. When not less than a predetermined force is applied to the connector part, the connector part slides in the insertion direction, and when no force is applied to the connector part, the connector part slides in the direction opposite to the insertion direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
