<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercharger for an internal combustion engine that can eliminate a turbo lag and implement a supercharging function even at the start of an engine. <P>SOLUTION: The supercharger for an internal combustion engine includes: a supercharged air path 3 connected to an air intake path 1a; a supercharged air tank 5 for storing a supercharged air of a predetermined pressure and sending the supercharged air to the supercharged air path 3; a supercharging valve 4 arranged in the supercharged air path 3, and configured to open and close according to engine operating conditions; and a check valve 10 provided in the air intake path 1a and positioned upstream from a part connected with the supercharged air path 3, for preventing reverse flow of the intake air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
