<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition effective for treating edema, ischemia, blood vessel diseases related to them, particularly, diabetic retinopathy, retinopathy of prematurity, macular degeneration related to age and glaucoma by stabilizing blood vessel walls to prevent blood leakage and helping growth of normal blood vessels, in the new formation and retainment of blood vessels. <P>SOLUTION: The composition includes peptide comprising an Xaa-Gly-Asp sequence as an active constituent; wherein, Xaa amino acid denotes Arg or Lys. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
