<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detecting device for optical beacons capable of further easily detecting abnormality generated in the optical beacons. <P>SOLUTION: An abnormality detecting section 40 of a central device 3 according to the present invention includes: an arithmetic section 42 for acquiring the number of communication on-vehicle machines 2 when a beacon head 7 of an optical beacon 4 performs communication within a predetermined period, and the number of passing vehicles C that pass a communication area A of the beacon head 7 of the optical beacon 4 within the predetermined period and determining an uplink rate within the predetermined period; and a determination section 43 for determining the abnormality of the beacon head 7 of the optical beacon 4 based on the uplink rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
