The invention relates to a compressor wheel for an exhaust-gas turbocharger, which compressor wheel has a hub (1) with a hub bore (6) arranged centrally therein, a vane (2) which adjoins the hub (1) to the outside in the radial direction and which forms a wheel rear part (3), and compressor blades (4) arranged on the vane (2) and on the hub (1). Internal stresses are introduced into the material of the compressor wheel in the region of the hub (1) and/or in the region of the wheel rear part (3) and/or in the transition regions of the compressor blades to the hub (1) and vanes (2). The invention also relates to alternative methods for introducing said internal stresses into a compressor wheel for an exhaust-gas turbocharger.
