Cleaning roller for floor cleaning machine

The roller (10) has a cylindrical roller body (16) comprising bearing elements for rotatably mounting the roller on a floor cleaning machine. The roller body includes a casing surface surrounded by a cleaning covering i.e. microfiber non-woven (18), which is connected to the roller body in a rotationally fixed manner. The cleaning covering is wound onto the roller body in the shape of belt and is undetachably connected to the roller body. The roller body comprises a roller base encircled by a roll sleeve, where the roller base and the roll sleeve are made of plastic material.
