PURPOSE: An electric excavator system is provided to improve work efficiency by detachably coupling a power supply unit to a power receiving unit. CONSTITUTION: An electric excavator system comprises a power supply unit(100), a power receiving unit(200), a socket, and a plug. The power supply unit has a power box(110), a cable drum(120), a drum drive unit(122), a cable guide(130), a length detection unit(140), and a transmission unit(150). The length detection unit detects the drawing length of a cable wound around the cable drum. When the detected length of the cable is a maximum or minimum length, the transmission unit transmits the detected signal to a receiving unit of the power receiving unit(201). The power receiving unit has a controller(240), a storage battery(210), an overcharge prevention unit(212), a charge volume detection unit(214), an inverter(220), an alarm unit(250), and the receiving unit. The receiving unit outputs the received signal to the controller. The socket is formed on the end of the cable. The plug is connected to a power cable of an excavator.
