PURPOSE: A workpiece assistant support for a wire-cut electric discharge machine is provided to stably and easily support workpieces smaller than a molding board and to enhance the reduction of machining ranges. CONSTITUTION: A workpiece assistant support for a wire-cut electric discharge machine comprises a first member(3), a second member(6), and a height adjusting unit. A placing part(1) of the first member is formed on the top so that the end of workpieces can be placed. The lower part of the first member is curved at a predetermined curvature. The bottom of the second member is formed to stand in a stable state. The upper part of the second member is curved at the predetermined curvature same as the lower part of the first member. The height adjusting unit is formed between the first and second members to adjust the height of the first member.
