PURPOSE: A housing for a solid electrolytic capacitor is provided to improve mechanical stability by stably connecting components using a lip. CONSTITUTION: A housing(222) includes a base and a lid which covers the base. An inner hole is defined between the base and the lid. The lid is sealed in the base. The lid includes an outer wall and a side wall which is extended toward the base in a vertical direction. A capacitor device(120) is located in the inner hole. A solid electrolyte is located on the anode. The anode is made of the sintered porous elements.
