<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle display device ensuring visibility at rear side confirmation when a vehicle is retreated and capable of continuously also enjoying an image by an occupant at a rear seat at retreating of the vehicle, a display control device for controlling this, a display control method and a control program. <P>SOLUTION: The display control device 40 for controlling the on-vehicle display device 12 having a display area of predetermined size is provided with a retreating detection part 41b for detecting retreating of the vehicle; and a signal processing part 46 for applying contraction display processing such that an image corresponding to an image signal is displayed at a smaller area than a display area of predetermined size relative to the image signal inputted from the outside when retreating of the vehicle is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
