Lubricant composition comprises (a) a base oil, (b) a complex soap and (c) optionally an additive, where the lubricant composition is saturated with (d) a saturated hydroxy group-containing substance. An independent claim is included for preparing the lubricant composition comprising adding (d) during the boiling process of the lubricant composition up to its saturation and subsequently adjusting the National Lubricating Grease Institute class.
