In a modification of the alloys claimed in the parent Specification, whole or a part of the titanium content is replaced by nibium within the range 0.25-2.5 per cent, the maximum total of the titanium and nibium contents not exceeding 2.5 per cent. The lower limit of the cobalt content may be reduced to 6.61 per cent. The alloys may be used as welding electrodes or as components for gas turbines required to operate at temperatures up to 850 DEG C under high stress. |
